Anas Younes, MD, is Professor of Medicine, University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and Director of Clinical and Translational Research at the Department of Lymphoma and Myeloma at MD Anderson. He received his degree-granting education from The University of Damascus School of Medicine, Damascus, Syria, MD, 1983, Medicine. He has done Postgraduate Training from Guest Researcher, Endocrine and Reproductive Research Branch (ERRB), NICHD, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda.
Younes’ clinical and translational research is focused on the development of novel targeted therapy for patients with Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) including T-cell lymphoma. He is a member of the NCI Lymphoma Steering Committee and serves on several scientific editorial boards and NIH Study sections. His laboratory is supported by a P50 SPORE grant on lymphoma.
