Dr. David T. Long have degrees in hydrogeology (MS) and aqueous geochemistry (PhD) and done research and teaching in the broad areas of Aqueous and Environmental Geochemistry. Environments that he studied include groundwater, rivers, lakes, oceans, and rain. Media include water, sediments (modern and acient), soils, and biologic material. In addition, he is very interested in linking knowledge of microbiological processes to geochemical processes and models such as PHREEQC.
