Theirr group is interested in applying optimization techniques and optimal control theory to complex drug dosing problems, such as drug tolerance, enzyme or transporter induction. They study anti-depressants, specifically, the delayed-onset of action of selective serotonin (SSRI) and norepinephrine (NRI) reuptake inhibitors. Additionally, They model statistical data and complex nonlinear, time-varying biological/pharmacological cascades.
