Haigang Gu is currently working as a Post doctoral fellow in the Vandebilt University School of Medicine. He completed his PhD in Biomedical Engineering in 2007 in the Peking Union Medical College, Tshinghua University, China. |

His current research is to understand how transcriptional factors affect neuronal differentiation and maturation and synaptic transmission and recycling invitro and invivo using stem cell-derived neurons, primary cultured neuronsand brain slices by whole cell patch clamp recording and super-resolution live cell imaging. |
