Andrew McQuillin is a Senior Lecturer in Molecular Psychiatry in the Unit of Mental Health Sciences at University College London. He obtained his PhD from Imperial College London in 1995 and joined the Molecular Psychiatry Lab at UCL in 2006. His research interests focus on the genetic determinants of mental health. Studies range from analysis of gene expression in model systems of disease and/or treatment paradigms to genetic association studies in bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, alcoholism, ADHD and learning difficulties.
