Felix Y. Lui is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Section of Trauma, Surgical Critical Care and Emergency General Surgery at Yale University School of Medicine. After receiving his medical degree at Brown University, he completed his residency in General Surgery at Berkshire Medical Center (University of Massachusetts), and completed a Fellowship in Trauma and Surgical Critical Care at the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center (University of Maryland) in Baltimore, MD. Since fellowship, he has been on staff at Yale University School of Medicine and Yale New Haven Hospital, practicing trauma surgery, acute care surgery and surgical critical care.Dr. Lui is Board certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical care and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS). He is an active member of multiple local, state and national committees and associations including the CT chapter of the ACS, Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma, and the Surgical Infection Society.He has published multiple articles related to wound healing, traumatic injury, and trauma systems. His research interests include patterns of traumatic injury, pediatric trauma, enterocutaneous fistulae formation, sepsis, and surgical infection.
