About the Journal

Chemotherapy: Open Access (CMT) deals with various types of therapeutic techniques such as Cytotoxic, Electro, and the antimicrobial chemotherapies used to treat several dreadful diseases, particularly Cancer. It also accepts articles on immune suppressant and its application along with different aspects of chemotherapy research and chemotherapy reviews. This scientific journal includes a wide range of fields in its discipline to create a platform for the authors to make their contribution towards the journal.

Chemotherapy (CMT) is one of the best Open Access journals publishes the relevant and reliable information on the discoveries and current developments in the form of original articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, etc. and all other areas of the field and making them freely available online without any restrictions or any other subscriptions to researchers worldwide.

Editor Manager System is used to maintain the quality of the online manuscript submission, peer review process, and tracking systems. Review processing is performed by the editorial board members of the Journal of Chemotherapy or by outside experts. At least two independent reviewers approval followed by required editor approval is mandatory for acceptance of any citable manuscript. Authors may submit manuscripts and track their progress through the system, hopefully to publication. Reviewers can download manuscripts and submit their opinions to the editor. Editors can manage the whole submission/review/revise/publish process.

Electro Chemotherapy

Electro Chemotherapy is a type of chemotherapy that sends electrical impulses to the cancer cells. The electrical impulse alters the outer layer of cancer cell which increases permeability of the drug in to the cancer cell.

Cancer therapy

when cells in the pancreas begin to multiply out of control and form a mass. These cancer cells have the ability to invade other parts of the body.Pancreatic adenocarcinoma accounts for 85% of pancreatic cancer. It is caused due to tobacco smoking, obesity, and diabetes. Symptoms include yellow skin, back pain, weight loss, and dark urine.

Radiotherapy

It is the use of high-energy radiation usually x-rays for the treatment of cancers. It damages DNA. Radiotherapy is of two types: External radiotherapy using linear accelerator and internal radiotherapy using a small piece of radioactive material inside the body near cancerous cell.

Related Journals of Radiotherapy

Antibiotics in Chemotherapy, OMICS Journal of Radiology,Radiotherapy and Oncology, Reports of Practical Oncology and Radiotherapy, Journal of Radiotherapy in Practice, Cancer research UK.

Chemo Resistance

Chemotherapy resistance occurs when cancers that have been responding to a therapy suddenly begin to grow. The causes are mutations, gene amplification, active pumping of the drug by p-glycoprotein, inactivation of the drug by the cancer cells and repair the DNA breaks caused by the drug.

Tumorigenesis

Tumorigenesis  is the actual formation of a cancer, whereby normal cells are transformed into cancer cells. The carcinogenesis is characterized by the progression of changes at the cellular and genetic level. The causes include endogenous agents, exogenous agents and mutations and DNA repair deficiency.

Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Squamous Cell Carcinoma is a cancer of the squamous epithelial cell. Symptoms include red nodule, flat sore, red sore inside your mouth red, raised patch in the anus or on genitals. The cause of Squamous Cell Carcinoma is DNA damage due to prolonged exposure to UV radiation and sunlight.

Gynecological Cancers

Gynecologic cancers are the uncontrolled growth and spread of cancer cells originating in the female reproductive organs.

Major Disease Statistics

*Unofficial 2015 Journal Impact Factor was established by dividing the number of articles published in 2013 and 2014 with the number of times they are cited in 2015 based on Google search and the Scholar Citation Index database. If 'X' is the total number of articles published in 2013 and 2014, and 'Y' is the number of times these articles were cited in indexed journals during 2015 then, impact factor = Y/X
