Dental Prosthetics

Periodontal

Periodontal refers to tooth gum. Gums are made of soft tissue. They surround the bottom portion of our teeth. Periodontal disease is an infection of the gums. It is caused by plaque. Plaque makes acids and toxins that can make gums red or lead to bleeding of gums.

Partial Dentures

Partial Denture is a plate with one or more false teeth on it. It may be all plastic or a mixture of metal and plastic. Both types may have clips (clasps) to help keep the denture in place in your mouth. Depending on where they are, some of these clips may show when you smile or open your mouth.

Root Canal

A root canal is a treatment which is done to repair a damaged or infected tooth. This procedure involves removing the damaged area of the tooth, cleaning and disinfecting it and then filling and sealing it. The term "root canal" comes from cleaning of the canals inside the tooth's root.

Tooth Extraction

Tooth extraction is the removal of a tooth from its socket in the bone. If a tooth has been broken or damaged by decay, your dentist will try to fix it with a filling, crown or other treatment. Sometimes, though, there's too much damage for the tooth to be repaired. In this case, the tooth needs to be extracted.

Tooth Implants

Tooth implants are a popular and effective way to replace missing teeth and are designed to blend in with your other teeth. Tooth implant provides several advantages over other tooth replacement options. In addition to looking and functioning like a natural tooth, a dental implant replaces a single tooth without sacrificing the health of neighboring teeth
