Biography :

Lukasz Andrzej Glinka, born 5 October 1984 in Poland, is an active non-fiction writer whose books are dedicated to both science and humanities, author for a number of scientific and research papers in theoretical cosmology and physics, and editor at international science journals. He began in 2006 by a research work at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Dubna, Russia, and got the Bachelor of Science degree in physics in 2010 at the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, Moscow, Russia. His biography has been published by the Marquis Who’s Who (Science and Engineering 2011-2012, World 2014), and he holds a membership of the American Association of International Researchers, the publishing group within the American Research Institute for Policy Development, New York, United States.

Biography :

Shikui Tang is currently a research fellow at University of Pennsylvania, after he finished his first postdoctoral training in Harvard Medical School. He received his Ph.D. in Astronomy in 2009 from University of Massachusetts Amherst. During his graduate study, he involved in a broad range of research topics: stellar spectroscopy, X-ray binaries, supernova remnants, super-bubble, and hot gas in intra-cluster and intergalactic space as well as in individual galaxies. His dissertation comprehensively explored the stellar feedback on galaxy formation and evolution, by conducting hydrodynamic simulation, theoretical modeling, and observational data analysis. A series of research papers were published in referred journals.

Dr. Omid Gohardani joined Cranfield University, United Kingdom as a Doctoral researcher in Aerospace engineering after completion of a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona, United States and Master of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden following a visiting scholar position held at the University of Florida, Florida, United States. Dr. Gohardani is a United States Wakonse teaching fellow and holds more than 15 national/international scholarships/awards and speaks six different languages fluently. He currently serves as a reviewer for scientific journals and as a judge for the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics student contests. In 2008, Dr. Gohardani was bestowed the title Honorary Citizen of Tucson, Arizona, United States and upon completion of a distinctive teaching program in Learner-Centered Education, awarded a College Teaching Certificate from the University of Arizona (summa cum laude).

Dr. Maxim Yu Khlopov graduated in 1974 with honours from MPhTI (Diploma of Engineer-Physicist of 30.06.1974, Moscow, duly certified English copy is available) and entered MPhTI post graduate courses, which finished in 1977 by successful presentation of thesis of candidate of physical and mathematical sciences on physical and astrophysical effects of weak interactions and got Diploma of Candidate of Science. He had memberships from Russian Gravitational Society (since 1993) and Astronomical Council of RAS (since 1999).

Professor P. D. Sahare is presently a faculty in the Department of Physics and Astrophysics, University of Delhi. He also was a faculty at Nagpur University and University of Pune, India. He obtained his Masters and Doctorate from Nagpur University, Nagpur. He did his Post-Doc from the Department of Polymer Science and Engineering, University Massachusetts (USA). He has published more than 100 research papers in international peer reviewed journals of repute. He has produced ten Ph. Ds. He was instrumental in organizing many national and international conferences. He is recipient of IAAM Advanced Materials Scientist Award-2011. He is also Associate Editor, Advanced Materials Letters. He is also President, Luminescence Society of India (Delhi Cheaper). He has close association with Lebedev Physical Institute, Moscow and JINR, Dubna (Russia). Dr. M. P. SRIVASTAVA,  Professor , Coordinator UGC-SAP ,Department of Physics and Astrophysics (2004-todate), University of Delhi ,after having  topped in M. Sc.(Physics) in 1965 from Lucknow University and recipient of a Gold medal, received his Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Sciences, Bangalore in 1969.He has been actively involved in research since 1965 and has been teaching at Delhi University since 1970.He is the author of about one hundred research papers in journals of International repute and has got two process patents to his credit.  He has supervised nineteen students for their research work who have been awarded Ph.D. degree from Delhi University. He nucleated and developed a full-fledged Experimental Plasma Research group which is involved with basic Plasma phenomena and plasma processing of nanomaterials, particularly on phase changes of materials in thin film form and thin film deposition and Nanofabrication of materials using Dense Plasma Focus device. He has been responsible in networking Plasma Research laboratory at Delhi University with 33 member Institutions in 21 countries spread over Asia and Africa with his efforts. Earlier he had made important contributions in the field of Kinetic Theory of plasmas, Waves and Instabilities in plasmas, Laser Plasma Interactions, Positron Annihilation in gases, Nonlinear wave-wave and Wave particle Interaction in plasmas.  He is listed in Marquis USA “Who’s Who in the World”. He has been a Visiting Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2001-02.He has lectured at various Universities/Institutes in USA, USSR, Europe, Japan, Australia and South East Asia, and has delivered invited lectures in a large number of International and National conferences where in he has also Chaired various Sessions.  He has been Platinum Jubilee Lecturer of Physics Section of 87th Session of Indian Science Congress Association in the year 2000.He has been the Vice –President(1988-2004) and (2008-to date) of Asian African Association for Plasma Training (AAAPT) , President(1999-2000) and Vice President (1990-91) of Plasma Science Society of India. He has been an Associate member (1983) of International Center for Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy. He has been involved in the organization of various International and National Conferences as Member/Co-Chairman of organizing committee and Member International Advisory Committee. He has been Member of American Physical Society, New York Academy of Sciences, American Geophysical Union and Life Members of National Academy of Sciences, India, Plasma Science Society of India and Indian Science congress Association. Member, Editorial Board, Indian Journal of Pure and Applied Physics, Frontier Applied Plasma technology, Japan. Prof. Srivastava has wide and varied academic administrative experience. He worked as Head of the Department of Physics and Astrophysics (2004-07), Chairman, Board of Research Studies (Sciences) (2006-07), Warden , International Students House (1980-85). He has been Member of Academic Council, Delhi University (2001-03) as a Professor out of his seniority amongst Professors.  of DU. Biography :

Kursat KARA is an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Engineering at the Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, UAE. He received his BS and MS degrees from Istanbul Technical University and PhD degree from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA, USA in 2008. His doctoral dissertation was on hypersonic boundary layer receptivity to acoustic disturbances over cones. Following graduation he was a research engineer at New England AnalyticsLLC, Shelton, CT consulting company to Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. He then joined to the Aerospace Engineering Department at Penn State as a post-doctoral research associate and worked with Prof. Philip J. Morris. In 2010, he joined Khalifa University. Dr. Kara’s research interests include computational aerodynamics/fluid dynamics, hypersonic boundary-layer transition (DNS), supersonic hot jet simulations for aeroacoustics (DES), high order accurate schemes (WENO, DRP), active flow control wind turbine blades (with Dr. Sankar from Georgia Tech), wind energy and spray cooling of electronics. His research has been funded by the NASA Langley Research Center, the U.S. Navy Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and Khalifa University. Dr. Kara is a Senior Member of AIAA and Member of AIAA Applied Aerodynamics Technical Committee.

Gets the degree of Bachelor of Astronomy in the first half of 2013 and Title professional astronomer, conferred by the University of Concepción, Chile. His scientific activity is centered on large projects: the study of stellar variability and the specific study of dual-period variable stars (DPVs stars). Currently with ongoing investigations.

Biography :

Prof Drikakis is Head of the Engineering Sciences Division at Cranfield University comprising five inter-disciplinary research centres. Dimitris’ expertise is in flight physics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, materials, nano-technologies, emerging technologies, and scientific computing (computational fluid dynamics, molecular and multi-scale modelling and computational nanoscience). Dimitris has been awarded twice the William Penney Fellowship from the UK’s Atomic Weapons Establishment for his contributions to compressible turbulent mixing and scientific computing for aerospace and defence applications. He has served as an expert evaluator for the European Commission and the European Research Council, and has also served (2010-2013) as a member of the Fluid Dynamics Technical Committee of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). He has co-authored two books in the field of computational fluid dynamics and has published about 350 journal and conference papers in the above scientific fields.
