Family Medicine is a Medical Specialty that provides comprehensive healthcare and medical solutions to the people of all ages in the family. This concept is popularly known as General Practice and the practitioner is generally referred as General Physician. Family Medicine & Medical Science Research is a Peer reviewed medical journal that includes a wide range of issues in the field such as the diagnosis, characterization, and therapy of various marked diseases of the Medical Science to create a platform for the authors to make their contribution towards the journal. The editorial office promises a peer review process for the submitted manuscripts for the quality of publishing that emphasizes the increasing role of Family Medicine as a discipline and widely publishes on.

The journal seeks high quality submisions and welcomes contributions in Family medicine, Alternative medicine, Health education, Mental health, Emergency medicine, Yoga and physiotherapy, Primary health care, Rural health care, Maternal & child health, Family planning and reproductive health.

This scholarly publishing Editorial Manager System for quality in the review process. Editorial Manaher System is an online manuscript submission, review and tracking systems. Review processing is performed by the editorial board members of Family Medicine & Medical Science Research or outside experts; at least two independent reviewer’s approval followed by the editor is required for the acceptance of any citable manuscript. Authors may submit manuscripts and track their progress through the system, hopefully to publication. Reviewers can download manuscripts and submit their opinions to the editor. Family Medicine

It is characterized as an exceptional branch of drug which deals with wide-ranging medicinal services for all ages. It is also known as a general practice. According to World Organization of Family Doctors, the point of family medications is to give individual attention, to give complete care, to provide continuing care for the individual patient of family and society.

Family Practice

The word family practice means to give good health to family and society. Those people who dealt with family practice is known as family physicians or family practitioner. It is based on the facts of patient’s family background or community background emphasizing diseases avoidance and health support. A family practitioner is also defined as a specialist who is trained in every guideline of family medicine. The main role of family practitioner is to offer general healthcare to people.

Family Health

Family health is defined as a special branch that deals with development of human particularly dedicated to improving lives. Role of family health is to improve child and maternal health, to overcome infectious diseases such as swine flu, malaria, HIV, to overcome chronic conditions such as cardiovascular diseases, to improve guideline related to nutrition.

Family Physician

Family doctors, through training and residency education, have particular state of mind, aptitudes, and learning which qualify them to deliver complete health care, health maintenance and preventive administrations to every individual from the family. These professionals, as a result of their experience and connections with the family, are best qualified to serve as every patient’s advocate in all health related matters, including health services.

Healthcare

Family health care is a new branch which is recently introduced in New York state in 2010. It allows the relatives of patients to create medical decisions for their family members in the absence of a living will. Role of family health care is to support patient during chronic condition, to give mentally support to patient.

Maternal Health

It can be defined as health of women at the time of pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum time. Aim of maternal health is to reduce maternal morbidity and maternal mortality which can be achieved by family planning, preconception and postnatal care.

Family Planning

The planning which is used to control the birth is known as Family Planning. Birth control is used as a synonym for family planning. The reason of family planning is to be confident that any couple, man, or woman who has the wish to have a child has the resources that are needed sequentially to complete this goal successfully.

Child healthcare

Children's health includes the physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being of children from embryonic stage to puberty. According to the schedule recommended by the physician or pediatrician, children should have regular checkups. As per American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), children should be advised for well-baby checkups at two weeks, two months, four months, six months, nine months, twelve months, fifteen months, and eighteen months. Well-child visits are suggested at ages two, three, four, five, six, eight, 10, and annually thereafter through age 21.

Rural healthcare

Rural health care is the integrative study of health care delivered in rural environments. The concept of rural health includes many fields, including geography, midwifery, nursing, sociology, economics, and telehealth or telemedicine. On the basis of various research, it can be concluded that healthcare needs of individuals living in rural areas suffering from lack of access to healthcare. Now a days Govt. also providing funds medical practitioners, mental health programs and healthcare facilities can be delivered for each individuals of rural areas.

Epidemiology

It is defined as a branch of medicine which deals with the incidence and occurrence of disease in large populations and with exposure of the source along with reason of epidemics of infectious disease.

Emergency Medicine

Emergency medicine is a branch of a medical care which involves care for undifferentiated, unscheduled patients with acute illnesses or injuries affecting patients of all age groups that need instant medical attention.

Family Planning Methods

Family planning method is a technique through which planning can be done for when to have children, and implementation of such techniques is useful for birth control. Some other methods which plays an important role in family planning includes sexual education, prevention and management of sexually transmitted infections, pre-conception counseling and management, and infertility management.

Sexual Health

It is defined as a state of physical, mental and social well-being in relation to sexuality. It needs a positive and respectful method to sexuality and sexual relation, as well as the opportunity of having pleasurable and safe sexual experiences.

Community Medicine

It is a branch of healthcare that is concerned with the health of the each individuals of a community. The importance of community medicine is on the early diagnosis of disease, and the prevention of disease in the community.

Community Healthcare

Community healthcare is the integrative study of public health which concerned with the study and progress of the health characteristics of communities. Community health care can be studied with three broad categories: 1). Primary healthcare; 2). Secondary healthcare; 3). Tertiary healthcare

Family Healthcare

Pregnant Women Diabetes

It is clinical condition in which blood glucose level increases during pregnancy. It occurs when insulin receptor do not work appropriately. Factors that give rise to diabetes in pregnancy are presence of human placental lactogen which interferes with susceptible receptors of insulin.

Primary Healthcare

Primary health care is abbreviated with “PHC”. It can be defined as a technology which includes health care on the basis of practical, scientifically and socially traditional methods. The foremost aim of primary health care is better health for all. According to WHO there are few methods through which Primary health care can be achieved are to reduce and prohibit social disparity in health, to organize health services around people's needs and to integrate health into all sector.

Primary Care Physician

It can be defined as a practitioner who provides initial contact for a person without diagnosing health concern as well as long-term care of different medical conditions which is not limited to cause, organ system or diagnosis. A primary care physician is first practitioner who contact patient because of easy and simple communication and to provide care to the patients.

Contraceptive Choice

Contraception means avoidance of pregnancy. Contraceptive choice provides safety methods to individuals during sexual relation for choosing a decision when they want to have a baby.
