About the Journal

Oncolgy and cancer case reports refers to theinvestigation of the chemistry of cancer and tumors at the molecular scale. Oncology depends on diagnostic tools like biopsy or removal of bits of the tumour tissue and endoscopy for the gastrointestinal tract, imaging studies like X-rays, CT scanning, MRI scanning, ultrasound and other radiological techniques, Scintigraphy.

Oncolgy and cancer case reports is an Open Access journal that aims to publish the most complete and reliable source of information on the discoveries and current developments in the mode of original articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, etc. in all areas of the field and making them available online without any restrictions or subscriptions to the researchers worldwide.

Oncolgy and cancer case reports is a peer reviewed scientific journal known for rapid dissemination of high-quality research. This Depression Journal with high impact factor offers an open access platform to the authors in academia and industry to publish their novel research. It serves the International Scientific Community with its standard research publications.

The journal is using Editorial Manager System for quality in the review process. Editorial Manager System is an online manuscript submission, review and tracking systems. Review process is performed by the editorial board members of Oncolgy and cancer case reports or outside experts; at least two independent reviewer’s approval followed by the editor is required for the acceptance of any citable manuscript. Authors may submit manuscripts and track their progress through the system, hopefully to publication. Reviewers can download manuscripts and submit their opinions to the editor. Editors can manage the whole submission/review/revise/publish process.

Bone cancer

A bone tumor, is a neoplastic growth of tissue in bone. Abnormal growths found in the bone can be either benign (noncancerous) or malignant (cancerous). Bone cancer can be primary bone cancer or secondary bone cancer. Primary bone cancer started in the bone; the cancer initially formed in the cells of the bone, while secondary cancer started elsewhere in the body and spread to the bone.

Cancer Therapeutics

The study aims at development, evaluation and implementation of new treatments. In this we can study cancer biology and pathology, research methodologies, drug development, regulatory issues and types of cancer treatments, such as surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and many others.

Carcinoma Case Reports

Carcinoma is a type of cancer that develops from epithelial cells. Specifically, a carcinoma is a cancer that begins in a tissue that lines the inner or outer surfaces of the body, and that generally arises from cells originating in the endodermal or ectodermal germ layer during embryogenesis. Case reports should include relevant positive and negative findings from history, examination and investigation, and can include clinical photographs, provided these are accompanied by written consent to publish from the patient.

Hematology Case Reports

Hematology is the branch of medicine concerned with the study, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases related to the blood. Hematology is practised by specialists in the field who deal with the diagnosis, treatment and overall management of people with blood disorders ranging from anemia to blood cancer. Case reports describing preventive or therapeutic interventions, as these generally require stronger evidence.

Integrative Medicine

Integrative medicine which is also called integrated medicine and integrative health in the United Kingdom, combines alternative medicine with evidence-based medicine. Proponents claim that it treats the "whole person," focuses on wellness and health rather than on treating disease, and emphasizes the patient-physician relationship.

Liver Cancer Case Reports

Liver cancer or hepatic cancer is a cancer that originates in the liver. Liver tumors are discovered on medical imaging equipment or present themselves symptomatically as an abdominal mass, abdominal pain, yellow skin, nausea or liver dysfunction. When cancer is found in the liver, it has often spread from somewhere else in the body (liver metastasis). The information here is about cancer that starts in the liver (primary liver cancer). Case reports should include relevant positive and negative findings from history, examination and investigation, and can include clinical photographs, provided these are accompanied by written consent to publish from the patient.

Lung Cancer Case Reports

It is a malignant lung tumor characterized by uncontrolled cell growth in tissues of the lung. If left untreated, this growth can spread beyond the lung by process of metastasis into nearby tissue or other parts of the body. As lung cancer stages advance, lung cancer symptoms include coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, and bloody mucus. Treatment includes surgery, chemotherapy, and/or radiation. Case reports should include relevant positive and negative findings from history, examination and investigation, and can include clinical photographs, provided these are accompanied by written consent to publish from the patients.

Neoplasm

Neoplasm is an abnormal growth of tissue, and when also forming a mass is commonly referred to as a tumor or tumor. This abnormal growth (neoplasia) usually but not always forms a mass. Neoplasia describes when these cells proliferate in an abnormal manner that is not coordinated with the surrounding tissue. As this excessive growth persists, a lump or tumor is usually formed.

Oncogenes

An oncogene is a gene that has the potential to cause cancer. In tumor cells, they are often mutated or expressed at high levels. Most normal cells will undergo a programmed form of rapid cell death (apoptosis) when critical functions are altered. Activated oncogenes can cause those cells designated for apoptosis to survive and proliferate instead.

Prostate Breast

Women know that if their mother, sister or daughter has been diagnosed with breast cancer, they may need to be more vigilant about screening. Women whose father or brother has prostate cancer are more likely to develop breast cancer. But women were 80 per cent more likely to get the illness if their father, brother or son had prostate cancer and their mother or sister had breast cancer.

Radiation Therapy Case Reports

The study aims at clinical oncology and radiotherapy, as well as in radiotherapy physics, techniques and radiotherapy equipment. Case reports should include relevant positive and negative findings from history, examination and investigation, and can include clinical photographs, provided these are accompanied by written consent to publish from the patient(s). Case reports should include an up-to-date review of all previous cases in the field.

Skin Cancer

Skin cancers are cancers that arise from the skin. They are due to the development of abnormal cells that have the ability to invade or spread to other parts of the body. Basal cell cancer grows slowly and can damage the tissue around it but is unlikely to spread to distant areas or result in death. It often appears as a painless raised area of skin, that may be shiny with small blood vessel running over it or may present as a raised area with an ulcer.

Gynecological Oncology

Gynecologic oncology is a specialized field of medicine that focuses on cancers of the female reproductive system, including ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, vaginal cancer, cervical cancer, and vulvar cancer. As specialists, they have extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of these cancers.
