Impact Factor 1.0 *

*Unofficial 2014 Impact Factor was established by dividing the number of articles published in 2012 and 2013 with the number of times they are cited in 2014 based on Google search and the Scholar Citation Index database. If ‘X’ is the total number of articles published in 2012 and 2013, and ‘Y’ is the number of times these articles were cited in indexed journals during 2014 than, impact factor = Y/X.

Aim & Scope

Primary health care relates to the professional health care received in the community, usually from a general practitioner or practice nurses. The journal is indispensable for Primary Health Care Practitioners, family medicine specialists and academics for bringing out their scientific highlights.

Primary Health Care is an Open Access, peer-reviewed, academic journal and aims to publish most complete and reliable source of information on the discoveries and current developments in the mode of original articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, etc. in all areas of the anesthesiology and perioperative medicine and making them freely available  worldwide.

The journal is using Editorial manager System for quality in peer-review process. Editorial manager System is an online manuscript submission, review and tracking systems. Review processing is performed by the editorial board members of Primary Health Care or outside experts; at least two independent reviewers approval followed by editor approval is required for acceptance of any citable manuscript. Authors may submit manuscripts and track their progress through the system, hopefully to publication. Reviewers can download manuscripts and submit their opinions to the editor. Editors can manage the whole submission/review/revise/publish process.

Primary Health Care is a scientific journal includes a wide range of fields in its discipline to create a platform for the authors to make their contribution towards the journal and the editorial office promises a peer review process for the submitted manuscripts for the quality of publishing. Community health may be categerized into Primary Health care,Secondary health care and Tertiary health care.Todays many community health services available in the country. These services are organized by government and health professionals.The community health services goal is quality care and patients mental health treatment in free of cost.

Family Medicine

Family Healthcare is a branch of Health group. It deals with individual and family health care.The main aim of family medicine is caring relationship with patients and their families. Researchers shows that many developed countries have better family health practices at lower costs. The scope of family medicine is very wide , it is a mixture of biomedical, behavioral, and social sciences. Family physicians should trained on internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, and geriatrics.

Health Policy

Health Policy can be categerized into personal health care policy, pharmaceutical policy, and policies related to public health such as vaccination policy, tobacco control policy .Many health policies are focusing on financing of health services.Government health services are planning to improve health policy strategy to achieve health financing policy. Government may change in policy structure or introduce new policies widespread access to health services.

Social Service

Social Services  is also know as public services organized by government and organizations.The main aim of social services are provide better health services in rural and urban areas.Todays voluntary social services have introduced to met health care for poor peoples.Volunteers are play an important role for social health service.But Volunteers they will provide quality primary care and preventive health care to the poor peoples Each volunteers should be educated and sholud know the knowlwdge on primary care treatment.

 

Chronic Disease

Chronic Disease is the leading cause of death. Chronic diseases are arthritis, asthma, cancer, COPD, diabetes and viral diseases such as hepatitis C and HIV/AIDS.The death rate of chronic diseases are higher in the developing countries.The common symptoms of chronic diseasea are characterised by multiple risk factors, a long course of illness and functional impairment.Most of the chronic diseases are not treatable completely,for example Heart attack. Some chronic diseases persist in an individual through life, but not cause of death, for example arthritis.

Risk Factors

The word risk factor is used to determine the infection risk or diseases risk. Risk factor can be calculated by age, sex, occupation, genetic data, diet, family medical history and alcohol consumption of the individual. Risk factors like age and family history of early heart disease can't be changed. If risk factor increases gradually then chances of developing heart diseases. Some risk factors like allergens and parasites play an role in developing asthma.

Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioners are educated and trained to acquire knowledge for the promotion of health,diagnosis,primary health care and treatment of chronic conditions. nurse practitioners they should specialize in areas of cardiology, dermatology, oncology, pain management, surgical services, orthopedics and women's health.The main role of Nurse practitioners are Providing primary and specialty care services, should know patient histories and conducting physical examinations.

Primary Health Care

The main aim of Primary Health Care is the attainment of better health services for all individuals.There are three key elements in the health care system to achieve better health for individuals.These are Health work force development, use of appropriate technology and integrating health into all sectors. Primary health care is a main branch of health care system, including diagnosis and treatment, disease prevention and screening.

Cross-Sectional Study

Cross-Sectional Study is defined as it is a type of Observational study based on observations that take place in different groups at one time.By using this study we can collect the data from population at one specific area. In medical term Cross-sectional study is used to collect data at a defined time but it cannot be used to determine any relationship that may exist.This type of study gives major advantage for epidemiological study. Instead of doing an experiment, simply record the information that you collected in the groups you are examining

Primary Care Sports Medicines

Primary Care Sports Medicines is a field of medicine it deals with the prevention and treatment of injuries and other health problems that affect people who play sports. Sports medicine is a branch of medicine with the treatment of injuries resulting from athletic activities. A sports medicine mainly focuses on sports-related medical services like conditioning and injury prevention,osteopathic manipulation. In addition to treating athlets , primary care sports medicine physicians often consult with athletic trainers and coaches on injury prevention and performance enhancement.

Primary Care internal Medicine

Primary Care Internal Medicine is a branch of medicine science which deals with a pathophysiology, excellence in diagnosis and critical illnesses. Both Internal medicine and family practice are primary care specialties which means that doctors of these specialists serve as the main source of medical care for their patients. Internal medicine specialists are trained to solve diagnostic problems and can handle severe chronic illnesses and several different illnesses can handle at the same time.
