Chris Hagar is an Assistant Professor at the School of Library & Information Science, San Jose State University, USA. Dr. Hagar has worked as an academic librarian in the USA and UK in a variety of positions. Her professional experience also includes serving as Head of Library Development for INASP an international non-government development organization; lecturer positions at the International Centre for Information Management Systems and Services, University of Nicholas Copernicus, Torun, Poland, and at the Department of Information Studies, Northumbria University, UK.
